Speedy deletion nomination of Blake Montgomery

edit

A tag has been placed on Blake Montgomery requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Rorshacma (talk) 16:31, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will be removed shortly (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Rorshacma (talk) 17:20, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Do not create, add, or restore hoaxes to Wikipedia. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 22:19, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

RE: Article Deletions

edit

Per your arguments on the talk pages of the articles you created that are being proposed for Speedy Deletion, it would be helpful for you to read WP:N, WP:NBAND, and WP:RS to get a better understanding of the notability and sourcing requirements needed to have a valid Wikipedia article. Additionally, it is never a good idea to immediately recreate an article that has just been deleted, as this can potentially be seen as disruptive editing practices. Reviewing the above listed policies and guidelines should help you get a start on creating articles. Rorshacma (talk) 17:48, 16 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Snoobtube

edit

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Snoobtube has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —C.Fred (talk) 15:59, 17 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you create an inappropriate page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Rorshacma (talk) 16:06, 17 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
