Equivalence and non-equivalence

edit

I've reverted your change to the Hades article. Although Roman Pluto is often cited as the Roman equivalent to Hades, particularly in generalist works on mythology, this is an error traceable to early modern English translations of Latin literature. Please read the article on Pluto (mythology) and exhaustive, scholarly-sourced discussion of this very matter on its talk-page. Thank you. Haploidavey (talk) 18:28, 16 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Look, why not add "Pluto" along with Dis Pater and Orcus? I study Ancient Greek mythology and by no means Hades and Pluto can be separated. "Pluto" is the Roman equivalent of Hades, including the "Planet Pluto" which is associated with Hades, thus associated with the astrological sign "Scorpio".

I am sorry, but I do not agree with you, but I will read the the Pluto talk page anyway.
