Help me!

Please help me with...

Marco Gutierrez 21:49, 13 October 2016 (UTC)

I am creating a new article. I was advised to first edit another article to get familiar with the process. I would like to edit Taco Trucks on every corner under REACTIONS. This phrase was quoted on TBS Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on September 12, 2016.

It was also featured on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher on September 30, 2016 in a segment called Donald Trump's Basket of Inexplicables. I am not sure how to correctly reference these shows or if I should put them under reaction or call them something else

Firstly, if you are the Marco Gutierrez who gave that quote about "taco trucks on every corner", I would strongly advise you to stay away from that topic on Wikipedia since you have an obvious conflict of interest that may make it difficult for you to edit neutrally about a topic you are so closely involved with.
Secondly, you can find information on how to easily cite your sources at WP:Referencing for beginners. You must provide enough information to allow our readers to find the source and verify on their own that it confirms what you cite it for. A link to a video archive may do the trick. And as I said, WP:Referencing for beginners explains the technical details.
Thirdly, I rather don't think a talk show like Real Time with Bill Maher or comedy like Full Frontal with Samantha Bee would be considered reliable by Wikipedia's standards. Will citing those sources improve our readers' understanding of the phrase? Huon (talk) 13:29, 15 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
