The article is basically a track listing and some chart stats. Articles about singles that are little more than this are not considered to be suitable for Wikipedia. However, I expect because Kershaw was very well known and the single reached high in the charts, there will be reviews and/or descriptions in magazines etc. available. These sort of things make an article about a music single useful.

The other reviewer made a fair comment, that the excessive credits (probably taken from the sleeve notes?) were unnecessary.

WP:NSONG says that "a standalone article is only appropriate when there is enough material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album." Hope that helps explain things. Sionk (talk) 18:57, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

It was simply because there was a lost " before/after the . so it felt like a different quote or your opinion; Other than that the article is good and I'd be happy to accept it once you resubmit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. Kadzi (talkcontribs) 22:47, 13 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Metabelis! . We are currently trying to bring Please Please Me article to GA status. I have notice your excellent work on the The Beatles Winter 1963 Helen Shapiro Tour, so I have copied the Instruments section to there, as Babiuk stated that the fab four used the same instruments for the recording. Thanks !!. --Alexcalamaro (talk) 18:57, 21 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
