Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2016–17 figure skating season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Yan Han and Chris Reed. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

2018 pairs figure skating

I wanted to say that you are probably right, but as the rules state, "The host country places will only be implemented if there are remaining places from the ten (10) Team event “Additional Athletes Quotas”. Unless you have an official statement we should wait until the end of the nebelhorn trophy to see how many of the Additional Athletes Quotas are likely to be needed.18abruce (talk) 16:19, 29 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I restored your edit for the host qualification, there is no plausible way for their to be no space for the additional two athletes now.18abruce (talk) 22:16, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2017 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Michael Parsons and Rachel Parsons (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Championnats de France de patinage 2018

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Championnats de France de patinage 2018, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that has essentially the same content as an article on another Wikimedia Foundation project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Great Britain versus United Kingdom

edit

On Wikipedia, GBR generally converts to "United Kingdom" and we should let it be. There's probably a reason why Wikipedia has chosen this (it appears Great Britain, strictly speaking, excludes Northern Ireland). So, while there are a few exceptions ("Great Britain" is accepted for the Olympic Games) "United Kingdom" is preferred in most Wiki articles. Hergilei (talk) 12:11, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Who is the Philippines replacing in the men's competition. And how do you know about this?18abruce (talk) 17:49, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

How do you know for sure that Michael Christian Martinez is replacing the Swedish entry?18abruce (talk) 20:03, 22 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

If a country rejects a quota spot then additional quotas become available. A country can be eligible for one quota spot per event in the reallocation process. The following list is compiled after the remaining spots were allocated at the 2017 CS Nebelhorn Trophy. Michael Christian Martinez from the Philippines is the first alternate for Men competition.

Very good, you can read the qualification page. Did you actually read my question? What confirmation do you have that Michael Christian Martinez is going to compete?18abruce (talk) 21:28, 22 January 2018 (UTC) Michael is the only skater in the Philippines to have the minimum score to participate in the OG and he started his preparation on his InstagramReply

Hello

Hello. I’ve saw you created many articles on figure skaters. I’ve also created on Devid Naryzhnyy / Elizaveta Shanaeva who qualified for JGP final weeks ago, but it got nominated to get deleted because of the standard of the notability(It says only competing at junior world champion can be verified as having notability. Not for qualifying JGP Finals) There seems like not many people here know about figure skating, importance of qualifying the final. could you review here and put your honest vote? thank you.
