Problems with editing Safe semantics
edit- Recent editing of yours copied content which has been published in "A protocol for implementing byzantine storage in churn-prone distributed systems" by Roberto Baldoni, Silvia Bonomi, & AmirSoltaniNezhad. This was a breach of copyright, so the editing has been reverted.
- Can you explain why you keep replacing "Safe Semantics" with "Safe Semantic(safe register)"? As far as I have ever seen, the form "semantic" is only ever used adjectivally, and the noun is normally "semantics". Also, I don't see any good reason for appending "(safe register)": is the term frequently used as an synonym of "safe semantics"? I don't see that it is.
- No matter what the merits or demerits of your editing, repeatedly making the same edit when others have reverted it, known as edit warring, is considered disruptive, and can lead to being blocked from editing. If you are convinced you are right, explain your reasons, and be prepared to discuss the issues, with a view to trying to reach agreement, but don't keep repeating the same edit over and over again. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
