another research request

Hi, Megalibrarygirl! I don't have access to this -- figured you likely do! Can you help?

jstor article

Thanks! It's for User:Valereee/Marie Anderson, another Women's Page journalist valereee (talk) 19:53, 26 December 2018 (UTC)

@Valereee: Did you try logging into JSTOR? This is one of those articles that you can make a free account for and read online. However, if that doesn't work, I am able to access it and can send it your way. Try the logging in thing first. 1) Go to the article. 2) Click "Read Online (Free)" 3) Login or create a JSTOR account. You can login using Google or create your own JSTOR account by clicking "Register for a MyJstor account." 4) You can now read the article online. You can read 6 articles a month this way. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 05:20, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
hahaha! God I am an idiot. I had tried to figure out how to 'read online free' but kept getting diverted down the rabbit hole of trying to connect thru my library. Thanks, got to the article! valereee (talk) 12:06, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
@Valereee: sorry for the slow reply. I'm glad I could show you how to do the free article thing. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 20:15, 1 January 2019 (UTC)

Barbara Steel

And she lives. Thank you so much for your help with the references. We managed to create a pretty darn good bio for someone whose name we didn't even know! SusunW (talk) 06:36, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

And wait, it gets better. Anthere made a French version! Back into the light to rejoin her place in history. I love it! SusunW (talk) 13:21, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
@SusunW: Long Live Lady Steel! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 21:54, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

FYI

Just an FYI, if you're interested, you might want to take a look at recent edits made to Casa Padre and Southwest Key. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:11, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

Thanks, Another Believer. Will do! Megalibrarygirl (talk) 16:41, 10 January 2019 (UTC)

AfroCine: Thank You!

Greetings!

The Months of African Cinema Global Edit-a-thon was concluded on 30 November 2018, and we've had amazing results. Over 570 articles were created across 8 language-Wikipedias. 7 in-person gatherings of Wikipedians were organized across different parts of the world.

All our winners have been recognized and you can check the complete list here.

For a pilot event, all our expectations were surpassed and we have you to thank for that. Thank you so much for being part of this global event! Thank you for helping to fix African content gaps on Wikipedia! We hope to see more of your participation in future AfroCine events and activities. Please remember to signup on the main WikiProject participants page, in order to get updated with these activities.--Jamie Tubers (talk) 23:50, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
