Famousbirthdays.com as a source

edit

Hi Maxkris88. I'm in the process of removing famousbirthdays.com as a source from Wikipedia, because it's not reliable (See Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_153#Is_famousbirthdays.com_a_reliable_source_for_personal_information). I noticed that you've added it, and wanted to make sure you understood why it's being removed. I don't believe any of the other sources you added to Draft:Noor Stars were reliable either, so I removed the entire edit. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 16:18, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Ronz: Oh!! Thank you so much I didn't know about that but the other sources are reliable because one of them was from Middle East Broadcasting Center check it http://www.mbc.net/ar/programs/joelle/beauty-tips/articles/عراقية-يتابعها-5-مليون-على--يوتيوب----مغرمة-بالتجميل-والماكياج--/photos/391973.html

thanke you for everything Maxkris88 (talk) 17:33, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I'm using auto-translation, so it might help to get a third editor involved that is fluent. That source appears to be a single-line summary of a press release. The two other similar sources all appear to be from the same press release: the mkhbr.com simply cites the nawaret.com article. Let me see if I can get someone to help. --Ronz (talk) 20:38, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
I may not get to this quickly. --Ronz (talk) 20:51, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
These are side issues though. Without references that are far better, that meet WP:BIO or at least WP:GNG, the article will never be created. You should focus on finding such sources. I'm happy to review any that you think might be close to what's needed. --Ronz (talk) 16:25, 14 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sources

edit

Hello, I'm Alexanderlee and I've noticed that in some of your recent edits you've cited websites such as Allkpop as sources. Please take a read through this article to see a list of reliable, and unreliable sources. Websites such as Allkpop and Soompi are not considered reliable, and are not to be used within articles. I also noticed that you cited YouTube, which should not be used as a source. It is better to use news articles wherever possible. If you have any questions regarding sources, you can leave a message here and someone will get back to you as soon as they can.

I have also reverted your edits to Jessica Jung discography, as this is a discography article and not a filmography article. Music videos should be listed in the videography article, should one exist - in this case it doesn't. I notice you were also told about this back in September.

Happy editing and happy holidays, Alexanderlee (talk) 21:55, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Alexanderlee: Thank you💕, then what about Kim Tae-yeon discography, Girls' Generation discography, Kim Jong-hyun discography, Lee Tae-min discography and NCT discography They are also have music video section??? Maxkris88 (talk)

K-pop articles aren’t always the best articles to go by for examples. Here are some better examples to go by:

@Alexanderlee: So can you remove all the music video from taeyeon, jonghyun.... Because you remove it from jessica only

There's No Justice. and Jessica jung doesn't have videography article so where can i put music video???

+ girls' generation have the same music Video section in two articles Girls' Generation discography and Girls' Generation videography? Why? Maxkris88 (talk) 22:33, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

I removed it from Jessica’s article because it was a recent addition that you had been told about in September. The other articles will most likely be moved to a separate article - another editor may or may not be working on this already but I currently do not have the time. You could leave a message here to ask some other editors if you like. You can ask about her music videos there too. Alexanderlee (talk) 22:39, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
