Hi Maxasher. I'm sorry that you've had some troubles getting into Wikipedia. Why not have a read of the Tutorial, which is a gentle way in - it might help you out

Ooops I should have written my response here - duh- I just wish Wiki was a bit more user friendly so everyone could contribute their knowledge to it. Maxasher (talk) 11:16, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I very much agree with you - it's definitely difficult for new users to get involved in wikipedia, there's a very steep learning curve. However, there's some places that you can go to get help. For example, there's the help desk and the new tea house. In fact, why I don't I drop a formal invite?

Hello! Maxasher, you are invited to join other new editors and friendly hosts in the Teahouse. An awesome place to meet people, ask questions and learn more about Wikipedia. Please join us!
There you go! The difficulty for editors is something we're always working on, I'm still hoping to see a WYSIWYG editor sooner or later - in the mean time, it's just down to people being helpful!
PS - you can reply on either my page or yours, there's no "accepted" way, and people have different preferences. Try and remember to sign your posts though! WormTT · (talk) 11:20, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
