You marked 2 articles for deletion - PG SiteMaker & Memorial Solutions - I am wondering why. The articles are not adverts, but rather descriptive articles chronicling the launch and uniqueness of a cutting edge tool for building websites. One which is specifically pertinent to a niche industry and is vastly altering that market space and changing the industry. Julia Price

Thanks for doing the wikilinks. Just one thing, women cricketers talk about 'batsmen'. They do not talk about 'batters'. Batters is from baseball. It's not a cricket phrase. I won't change it back, but I'm pretty sure 'batsmen' is better, it's not sexist. If you look at the article Batsman on Wikipedia you'll see this 'Batswoman?' The term batsman is widely used in both men's and women's cricket. Attempts to use a gender-neutral term like "batter", or the specific term "batswoman' in the women's form of the game have met with little or no success, and are generally rebuffed by the players themselves.' Hey Matt - I have just adjusted this page in full and checked/arranged for the Bot to count our new assessments Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Riverina articles by quality statistics. I have started on Start Class and will continue once I get back from a meeting later tonight. Important apparently the Bot only counts assessments where the word class=(stub/start/mid etc) is written with a Lower case c. The Scientists of Modern Music (TSOMM) (band)

Hi there. I was wondering if I could get some quick feedback about the TSOMM wiki entry that I created on 20-4-2007. I saw that you had it listed for speedy deletion yesterday -- the article at that stage was a barebones opening statement about the band. Following this I fleshened out the entry with details about the history of the band, with a detail that I thought would satisfy the notability criterion for musicians (as found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:MUSIC) -- the fact that their music had been placed in rotation on a national major radio network (10.). I also briefly touched upon the prominence of the band within their field within their local community (6.), although I was intending to fleshen this area further.

Another user deleted the entry some time today. When I discovered this I intended to query him about the deletion (as Wiki help suggests) and whether, if more information was provided and verified, it would still be eligible for deletion. However since the article no longer exists I can't find his username, so I thought I'd hit you up for some advice.

The page was definately a work in progress and was deleted 3 days after creation. Going forward, I'm keen to gather all the information together and create the full entry in one swoop so that it isn't so thin -- this way it could be judged on its merits as a complete entry. Also I was wondering about the difference of eligibility between the TSOMM entry and similar entries about music bands -- such as 67 Special as found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/67_special. However then when I was about to post this message I saw the link to your Darwin Station photos and they are brilliant also. Montagu Bay Primary School

Well, to me - this is just an unreferenced article in need of cleanup. It asserts some form of notability in education in stating that larger than average numbers of students obtain scholarships to Hobart's independent (secondary) schools.

I think there is enough in this article which would make the article worthwhile if it was improved through references independent of the school ie from news, hansard etc such as coverage of the location of the school, the fire and subsequent redevelopments.

Honestly, any school article which is this big, without resorting to "Mr Brown is the principle", and covers topics such as why the school is where it is, as well as events such as relocations, fire and redevelopment, is worth keeping almost regardless of the school at question. If all school articles were this good I would never argue delete at AfD. Which isn't to say it's not worth establishing some sort of benchmark, below which articles which are in terrible condition are deleted - but that shouldn't then be used to delete articles which are in much better condition.

However, I am consistantly dissapointed that Rac fleming creates significant artcles with zero attempts at referencing them. This article is well past being a stub, to the point where it could do with a copyedit to introduce sections. Garrie 23:25, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Jane Thurgood-Dove

I'd say the murder of Jane Thurgood-Dove was notable. Mistaken identities, killers presumed dead, and a policeman a prime suspect at one stage. The current article is in a terrible state and does indeed need a major cleanup. -- Longhair\^talk 07:34, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Matt I missed how deleting the whole Goodna Neighbourhood House article is supporting helping the Goodna. When I look through the Brisbane main article the discussion is that it is important to remove red links to be graded as a better one. Wouldn't it be better to have mutual discussion on how to improve it? Internationally there is a category for community centres and it is a not for profit community centre.

Located at 33 Queen St Goodna it is an easy walk from both the Goodna Shopping Centre and the Goodna train station. • G'day Matt. I had a great weekend - although I'd be happier if the Blues actually won another game soon. I did watch some bits of the game you went to and can understand your point. Mentone Grammar School

So who are you anyway mate? Was just wondering why you keep reverting the page back? In our opinion, and if you read the papers around the time of the occurrence in question (The Age, Leader, Herald Sun) you'll find more than enough info to show that the majority of the school really was against the changes and something to that effect at least should be allowed to be included. The school has also gained notoriety of late for being sued by a parent of a former student for breaching their duty of care in failing to educate their son correctly. Come on mate.. I know the previous edits are a bit rich but seriously, the school is a shambles and this is fact! I promise i won't do it again now that i'm on my last warning but if you are going to be the gatekeeper, you should know that the school is in deep trouble. I've added some refferences to the article including articles from X-Press and Triple J on the band. Triple J also very oftenly play Calerway's "Loaded" and "Always Away" singles on the station during the week.
