Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Talk:Ashwin Kumar, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 05:51, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Hockeycatcat (talk) 07:38, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mathew, could you perhaps tell me where you got this information from? I could help you add this citation if it is suitable. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 07:48, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I got this all informations from this page before the edits of somebody and another page of ASHWIN KUMAR LAKSHMIKANTHAN. Mathew Munna (talk) 07:55, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately, we need reliable, verifiable sources to use as references on this encyclopedia. If you can't find a suitable website on the Internet, then I'm afraid that nothing can be done. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 07:59, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Hockeycatcat? Mathew Munna (talk) 08:13, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mathew, we don't work with original research on this encyclopedia, only with published sources. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 08:20, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sorry Hockeycatcat. What do you mean? Why I can't do anything. I can edit and add true informations about somebody right. Mathew Munna (talk) 08:24, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

What I mean is we can't take your word for it. We need a source that people can look to for proof. Just you saying that it is true isn't enough. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 08:27, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok. How you believe me. Please tell me. Mathew Munna (talk) 08:32, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Even if everyone on this encyclopedia believed you, it still wouldn't be enough. Once again, we need a verifiable source. Please read WP:CITE for more information. Cheers, Hockeycatcat (talk) 08:35, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Posting on talk pages

edit

Mathew Munna, the reason some of your posts to Talk:Ashwin Kumar have been removed is because article talk pages should be used to discuss how the article could be improved. It is pointless to post angry notes to driveby vandals on the article talk page – they are never going to see it there, and having five posts that are variations of the same thing is not helpful. It is also not constructive to post to the talk page of one article just to say that you want to create a different article. You are clearly aware of the fact that Draft:Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan exists, so it is not quite clear why you are not working on that draft instead of just posting to the talk page that you want to create the article. It is almost certainly the case that Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan is not notable enough for there to be a Wikipedia article about him, but the only way to make such an article exist is to create the draft and then submit it for review.

Another couple of points: please don't post in ALL CAPS, and please use standard punctuation, not lots and lots of full stops. It only makes your posts very hard to read. It is also a good idea to try to be brief and not repeat the same thing multiple times. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 20:17, 22 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Final warning about adding unsourced information

edit

In this post it looks like you are saying that you will restore unsourced information that has been removed, because you know it is true. Unless you have a reliable source that supports the information, you may not do that. Multiple editors have already told you this, so this is a final warning. If you add unsourced information again, you will be reported for disruptive editing. --bonadea contributions talk 14:10, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

What is reliable source? Why it is important? Mathew Munna (talk) 14:19, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Mathew Munna, Hockeycatcat has explained repeatedly why sources are important. You asked questions and seemed to get it. But if you still don't understand, why did you make the same changes to the article? You knew that the changes were not OK, so why did you not take the time to find out what the problem was?
In Wikipedia, text that is blue is a link to another page. If you wonder what I meant by "reliable source", you can simply click on those words and be taken to an information page. That's why I included the link.
Finally, yet again: do not tell other editors that they cannot edit the article. As long as your fellow editors edit according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, we are welcome to do so. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 15:54, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I didn't tell to other editors can't edit ASHWIN KUMAR LAKSHMIKANTHAN'S Wikipedia page. But don't change or delete my true informations in ASHWIN KUMAR LAKSHMIKANTHAN'S Wikipedia page. And also don't add wrong informations about ASHWIN KUMAR LAKSHMIKANTHAN. Mathew Munna (talk) 16:22, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
