How I ran across your name

edit

I was doing what is called RC patrol (Clicking the Recent Changes link to the left of your screen) looking for vandalism and new users. I saw that you had an empty talk page, so I gave you the a welcome. Youngamerican 21:24, 30 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Helpme question

edit

Hi! You asked about underlining in the sandbox. You can underline by using the <u> and </u> tags. For example "<u>There you go!</u>" gives There you go!. If you have any more questions you can ask here, and there's no need to use the helpme since I'll be watching this page.--Commander Keane 14:35, 14 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I have another question (though I have only gone through the talk page of the tutorial), how would I change the formatting of my signature? I have seen this in a couple of places, with colors and additions of links to talk pages, seen a lot on talks and a lot on polls etc. Is there a way to do this? And, as far as wikiettiqute goes, if you put a page after your user page (like user:Matjehowell/someNewArticle) is it kinda understood that this won't be speedily deleted or reverted (unless obviously obscene or something)? This would be for a page development or organization that is in progress. Thanks! --Matejhowell 17:11, 14 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
You can change your signature in your preferences. Wikipedia:Signature#Customizing_your_signature and Wikipedia:How to fix your signature are some useful links. Yes, if you create a subpage in your userspace, like user:Matjehowell/someNewArticle, an admin won't delete it unless you ask them to. Great edit summary to get my attention by the way.--Commander Keane 17:26, 14 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
