January 2021 edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Istanbul; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 14:17, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Stop deleting "all" of my edits, including my textual edits (not just the image composition), which is vandalism. Martevenere (talk) 14:17, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Martevenere, you have gone to the talk page, as required, but you also have continued edit warring to make the change. Please revert all portions of your latest edit that involve the photos, and do not restore them until there is consensus at talk to do so. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 14:19, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Why should I? You are purposefully deleting my textual corrections and the new information that I added. Martevenere (talk) 14:20, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Martevenere, per WP:STATUSQUO, the status quo version should be retained until there is consensus to change it. You tried to change it, which was a valid bold action, but once I reverted you, the next step is to go to the talk page to discuss and reach consensus. Consensus is a fundamental principle of Wikipedia, and if you are not willing to abide by it, you are likely to find yourself blocked. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 14:51, 14 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

ANI notice edit

  There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. --A.Savin (talk) 12:55, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

No personal attacks edit

In your edit summary here, you are making accusations against another editor, clearly in conflict with Wikipedia rules, see WP:NPA about personal attacks and more specifically WP:ASPERSIONS about casting aspersions. You might also want to read WP:AGF about assuming good faith. Presenting personal attacks in an edit summary is especially serious, since edit summaries cannot be retracted. Moreover, the reason you give for your suspicions is factually wrong. The editor in question has made hundreds of edits during their five and a half year in the project, most of them to articles. --T*U (talk) 13:11, 18 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
