  Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 19:19, 16 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I'm Framawiki. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Gary Cherone, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Thanks, Framawiki (please notify me when you reply) 00:45, 23 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Sherif Girgis. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 06:41, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

A question about a source

edit

In this edit of the article Ryan T. Anderson you wrote " He resides in Virginia with his wife and four children", but you didn't provide a source for that information. Can you tell me where you got it? I haven't been able to find confirmation. JBW (talk) 19:59, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I inferred it from posts on Twitter. Posts are here and here. I will delete that line for now since it is unsourced. Marspe1 (talk) 16:47, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Warnings

edit

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Ttarta (talk) 00:28, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
