The Hall China Company edit

Hello. In regards to your question [1], I think it is probably a reference to the fact that the article only has a single citation from just one source. Articles needing multiple citations/references generally get tagged {{refimprove}}, while articles with no references get marked as {{unreferenced}}. Hope this helps answer your questions. Thanks, — Kralizec! (talk) 14:11, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

You should use the license:

That way if anyone uses your image they must credit you as the creator, but they are still free to use it. I see pics used from here at CNN and the BBC, and you might as well get credit. You can remove the template after you read this.

The caption should read "Porsche 6-cylinder boxer engine heads with hemi chambers" since "Boxster" is a car model which has an horizontally opposed flat BOXer engine in a roadSTER. 108.26.120.171 (talk) 18:18, 18 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Photos on Wikipedia edit

I agree with you on the Editor Assistance page that the photo-upload policy here is inane and one-sided, that photos are dumped for just about no reason at all, so really, I kind of gave up on that fight a long time ago. When I have chance I will look into this matter, but don't hold your breath: There are other things I have to do these days. I have photos also I took of the Florence doors and could upload them if needed. Your friend, GeorgeLouis (talk) 22:59, 9 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with File:Ayds Diet Product Original Box.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Ayds Diet Product Original Box.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the image description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. Kelly hi! 19:16, 7 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
