Meeting in Bristol this weekend?

edit

Hi this is Steve Virgin from Wikimedia UK. I am a fellow Bristolian and we have a Wikimedia Conference in town this weekend.

We are getting some of the Bristol Wikipedians together at the Watershed on Saturday night for a Wiki Meet at around 6.30pm. This is a good opportunity to meet people from the national chapter, the Wikimedia Foundation and chapters around the world. Bristol City Council has kindly offered a bar tab to help proceedings and we would be very keen to see you there.

Please let me know if you are able to come and feel free to invite any other local Wikipedians in Bristol.

Hi, you may have noticed that the message above was actually posted by User:AndrewRT.[1] It all seems rather strange. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 20:26, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Apologies I was doing it on Steve's behalf and should have made that explicit in the note above. Sorry if it caused any confiusion. Please contact Steve for more information on Saturday's event or see WP:Meetup/Bristol_1 AndrewRT(Talk) 23:36, 12 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Oasis Academy John Williams

edit

Can you explain your recent page move please?

The article and the related website refer to it as Oasis Academy Bristol, and your move currently looks like vandalism.

EdJogg (talk) 13:28, 27 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for finding the ref. I didn't think the page move was actually the work of a vandal, but without the supporting text you have to assume the worst. I have expanded the reasoning slightly. -- EdJogg (talk) 12:25, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Oasis school westbury logo.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Oasis school westbury logo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:07, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
