Happy Birthday!

Thank you! I appreciate it. Time certainly does fly.--NØ 05:41, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

Hi @MaranoFan. The recent discussion about release history table. Regards. 183.171.123.131 (talk) 17:36, 9 May 2024 (UTC)

Hi @MaranoFan. there's a problem with track listing. Also please share your thoughts regarding the track listing on QuietHere's talk page. Thank you. 183.171.123.12 (talk) 09:40, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

TFA

Thank you today for Can I Get It, "about Adele's song "Can I Get It". Several years after the chart-conquering success of "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)", Adele and producers Max Martin and Shellback connected again to create the most "pop" moment on her album 30. Despite the odd decision of not choosing it as a single, it performed like one and reached the top 40 in all major markets. With its moans and pop-rock influences, it certainly sticks out on the otherwise depressing album."! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:33, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

Thank you today for Thank You (Meghan Trainor album), "about Meghan Trainor's sophomore album, Thank You. It produced hits like "No" and "Me Too", which you may have heard on the radio or TikTok. There's an interesting backstory, as Trainor rewrote most of the album after her label rejected doo-wop material in the style of her previous one. The result was, well, "a bit of a hotchpotch" as one critic put it. Many reviewers thought Trainor lost her artistic identity, and sales were lower as well."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:58, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

Thank you (lol) for the constant encouragement as well. This TFA was the correct way to celebrate MOTHER'S day I think.--NØ 01:06, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
I agree! - today's story has a pic of a woman holding her cat, a DYK of 5 years ago - the recent pics show 2 orange tip butterflies --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:02, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Today's story mentions a concert I loved to hear and a piece I loved to sing in choir, 150 years old OTD. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:59, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

Oops apologies!

Oops I apologize! I didn’t see a certain part in the ref you added on Timeless (Meghan Trainor album) regarding the genres, I got annoyed when I initially removed it when someone said it was in the composition section — despite none being on the page. I left a message on your talk page thinking you were trolling by adding it back in the ref but I didn’t see that certain part stating it fusing together bubblegum pop and doo wop, I again, apologize and feel so bad now! Pillowdelight (talk) 02:37, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

It was definitely the IP's fault. You have nothing to apologize for. The album has shockingly picked up 0 critical reviews, so it is nice to see at least one or two people on Wikipedia care to edit the page... It's not a good week to be me, honestly.--NØ 08:29, 10 June 2024 (UTC)

FAC review for Windswept Adan

Hello MaranoFan! I've recently opened up an FAC nomination for Windswept Adan, and I'm seeking experienced editors who can provide unbiased feedback on prose and/or source checks. I've recognized you as someone who has a proclivity for and expertise in writing quality music-related articles (in fact, your Meghan Trainor album articles were something that I extensively used as references for what well-structured and well-written articles should look like while writing the nominated article - I really appreciate your hard and very diligent work!), and I believe that my nomination could use some impartial scrutiny in order to meet FA expectations. Of course, you are in no way obligated to conduct a review if you do not feel the topic is something of interest to you, and as it is a recent listing, you are at liberty to refuse as I can and likely should learn to be a bit more patient with the process. Feel free to let me know what you think about this, and I hope you have an amazing week ahead of you! joeyquism (talk) 05:42, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for the very kind words, Joeyquism! Your FAC looks like it's on track to pass anyways but I will take a look at it soon if it isn't promoted before I have the opportunity to do so.--NØ 14:49, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
Of course! Thank you very much for your response, and I hope that you'll be able to look at it sometime. joeyquism (talk) 15:41, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

Request for FAC mentorship (Growing Up (The Linda Lindas album))

Hi MaranoFan! I have a peer review open for the Growing Up (linked above). Dylan620 suggested that I seek a mentor, and I ended up finding you! Anyways, I'd appreciate the help if you're up to it! – The Sharpest Lives (💬✏️ℹ️) 01:51, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

Looks like a Four Award in the making, The Sharpest Lives! I will try to get to this soon, if you don't mind keeping it open for another month or so.--NØ 17:30, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

Searching for mentors

Hi, @MaranoFan.

These days I was waiting for a mentor for FA. Since, as you can see, I put you in my user page as "role model", I think it would be a good idea for you to guide me through the process, mainly with this article. Although I don't want to bother you if you don't want to, because probably you are very busy, more than me. Thank you for reading. Santi (talk) 19:23, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for including me in your user page, Santi! That is very sweet. Unfortunately, I do have my hands full at the moment and cannot commit to full mentorship. But I wish you the best. From my observation, a suggestion would be that you work on the currently FA-nominated article with Aoba47 during a peer review process instead of taking on a new article, as nominating a different article soon after one nomination is failed is considered bad optics.--NØ 01:23, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
@MaranoFan: Yes, you're right. However, first, the current FAC I have isn't closed yet, so it has more opportunities. Second, I'm just looking for a mentor, I'm not giving specific dates because everyone is very busy and like you said, it would be all in one fell swoop. Meanwhile, the article mentioned here is nominated for GOCE and PR, processes that take up to 3 or 5 months to be reviewed; a strategy to save me some time after finishing the FAC hehe. Streaming doesn’t need to be a detail bulletpoint jt can be in the headline

Hi @MaranoFan: Theknine2 suggest that not to use "Label" and "Region" columns via updated table. Your comments would be appreciated. Regards. 2001:D08:2901:4AE7:17DE:2934:B9B8:59FC (talk) 18:19, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

GA review

Hi, @MaranoFan.

As a WikiProject Olivia Rodrigo member, I'd like to review your article Lacy (song). I say this 'cause I was checking that article since November 2023. However, I'm afraid I'll suddenly leave you unwatched for too long, just as I did with the reviews of "So Long, London" and "Like That." You would be asking: then why are you applying if you are not sure you will comply? Well, it is, for you to consider, since I want to return in some way the favor that you are going to do me. Cheers. Santi (talk) 03:19, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

Santi, thank you for the offer. Finishing the currently pending reviews before taking on a new one would probably be less stressful. But I love the idea of a livie doing the review and would be happy if you do this one when you are free enough to get it completed in around 7 days :) --NØ 07:07, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
