Demon lords

Hi. Would you please start adding reference sections & infoboxes to the new articles you create? Thanks, you'll be saving me a lot of time.--Robbstrd 20:14, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Also, adding categories & project templates would also be much appreciated.--Robbstrd 20:26, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's all a matter of copying & pasting, really. Being lazy is a pretty crappy excuse, & doesn't earn you any favors with your fellow Wikipedians.--Robbstrd 20:54, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
So basically, you're only interested in doing a half-assed job? You may want to think twice about editing altogether. Geez, all I'm asking for is a little copying & pasting.--Robbstrd 21:04, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
"A half-assed job is better than none at all. You know, perhaps I shouldn't be bothered with this either. Malcanthet 02:06, 24 July 2007 (UTC)" Not if people have to clean up your messes.

Ahazu

edit

A tag has been placed on Ahazu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 172.133.110.41 14:16, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I hope that you've calmed down now. Having read your blanked discussion page, I'm guessing you may have reacted in anger to the combined stress of dealing with some guy who was a jerk to you and with having an article tagged for speedy deletion. Both of those things would sting me, too. Or maybe it was something else entirely. But whatever's going on, it's not worth trying to deface everything. You've done a lot of good work on Wikipedia, and Wikipedia doesn't need to lose you. As a fellow D&D player, I'm impressed by what you've done. Moonriddengirl 00:27, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

deleting your own contributions

edit

But we don't own our articles once we release them on Wikipedia--that is, we retain copyright of what we've written, but the terms we agree to puts it out there to be edited and used by others. If you're the only contributor to an article and want it deleted, you can request that. (In fact, blanking your own article is considered a request for speedy deletion.) Once it's been contributed to by anyone else, it's common ground and mass text deletions become vandalism. I can see that you've started a lot of articles--certainly more than I have, though I've done a few. They look like good articles. Wikipedia has a broad audience that will appreciate them. Moonriddengirl 00:43, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not assume ownership of articles. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. so sayeth Lucky Number 49 Yell at me! 01:50, 28 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
"Your" work on Wikipedia does not actually belong to you. What you're doing is considered vandalism. Read the policies.--Robbstrd 00:15, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Heh. Isn't it easier just to quit than to strive for an indef block? If that's what you want, I'm sure it can be arranged... :) Actually you can probably make the request yourself by reporting yourself to WP:AIV. -Amatulic 01:30, 9 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
