Welcome! edit

Hello, Maddywright, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Response edit

Hi, I have some feedback for you:

  • The first two sources are fine, but the third is a little iffy. I don't know that it's unusable, just that if possible I'd try to find a stronger source.
  • This is written in a bit of a casual style, so it needs to be a little more formal. I've put together a bit of an example in your sandbox as to how the page could read - definitely feel free to use and adapt the writing however you like.
  • Avoid mentioning price points, as we can't guarantee that these are the average prices for the dolls or the full range.
  • You should also avoid point of view statements like surprising, as terms like this are subjective to the reader. Some may be surprised, while others may not be.

I hope that this all helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:43, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
