Fatstone TV edit

Hi, thanks for message. Your article was deleted the second time through this deletion discussion, which you did not participate in. Please read the comments carefully. An article deleted via an open discussion will continue to be deleted on that basis alone unless there is a major rewrite, in particular to address the notability issue. Your article

  • did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Your "references" were all spamlinks to cable companies, nothing independent of the channel, and they do no more than confirm that your channel is available on them.
  • did not tell us why the company is notable, there is little about the company itself other than locations. How many employees? Turnover? Profits? Certified viewing figures? Awards?
  • was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: It is the first independent Norwegian TV channel to launch in 25 years... is most known for his involvement in The Arctic Challenge... Fatstone.TV was created to provide the public with television entertainment focusing on the country's strong culture of outdoor activities, adventure, extreme sports, and expeditions... The channel also aims to raise interest in outdoor activities and extreme sports by giving small and underrepresented groups a platform for exposure.— unsourced claims, aims and aspirations, no facts.

You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:13, 26 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
