New Article Creation

So, I'm not entirely sure why Rob had you list your article at Requested Articles. Usually one posts there in order to ask that someone else create the article. In this case, I think you should just develop it a little more in your sandbox and then create the page by moving it to Channel Expansion Theory. You've got a good start, but try adding at least 2 more references and a sentence or two for each section you're planning before going live. When you're ready either let me know or just go ahead and click Move (click the arrow next to the "watch this page" star) and move it to the appropriate place. Hey there! Your new page looks pretty good so far. I would just maybe poke around the Manual of Style and see if its appropriate to be using the 1st person (we) versus 3rd (one, or people), I'm honestly not sure off the top of my head. Anyways, this is a great start! If you can get it up to 1,500 characters of prose in the next couple days I would encourage you to submit it for Did You Know and we can get it on the front page! It will take upwards of 24 hours before Google and Wikipedia search engines pick up the new page. Nothing to worry about! Also, could you take a peek at how I reformatted your messages on my talk page and try and keep your messages more separated? Your note on Bearcat's talkpage

Hi, I spotted your message at User talk:Bearcat and thought I might be able to help:

1. Please read the instructions on that talkpage - and indeed it's standard for all talk pages - and add your comment at the bottom, not the top. As they say "If all else fails, read the instructions": there are lots of instructions around on Wikipedia, but this one is pretty clear and easy to understand. I'll move that comment of yours now, to save anyone else having to hunt for it.
2. But in reply to your question: Go to your article, click on "History" on the tabs above the article, scroll down and see where Bearcat's name occurs. Then click on the little circle in the left hand column on the line below that (06:43), and in the right-hand column of the line with Bearcat's name. Then click the "Compare selected revisions" button, and you'll see the changes highlighted: s/he changed various hyphens to dashes in page ranges in references (a detailed point some people worry about more than others), and added {{uncategorised}} at the bottom. For the record, I added the uncategorized tag, following which somebody else added a proper category and removed the tag. The software I used to perform the task automatically converted hyphens (-) to longer dashes (–) at the same time; that's certainly not something I spend my time doing on purpose.
