I tried to deal with your stated reason for deletion for Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2007_July_23#People_by_former_religion. Please re-consider your vote based on my edits diff diff. I have made many similar edits and more are to follow. In addition please review my arguments voiced there, among others that we should not remove the category former Muslims etc. because it is not a defining characteristic of some people, though it is for e.g. Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Following the same reasoning we should not delete the category:painters only because it is not a defining characteristic for some people, like Adolf Hitler. Andries 10:44, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

I started to inform people that I made changes to the categories to deal with the most frequently stated reason for deletion. Based on this I requested people who voiced this reason for deletion to change their votes. I also informed people who voted before I voted of the new arguments that I voiced there. Re: record labels

The link IMDB serves as an external link to the article. Right now the article is simply one line, and needs more expansion for the actor's biography. When expanding it and furnishing the articles with statements, you will want to provide references and sources for those statements, especially if another editor might question its validity (things like marriage, deaths, off-spring, events, etc.) I would not suggest using IMDB as a reference since, like Wikipedia, anyone can add information to it. I put the tag on the page in case another editor, familiar with the subject, comes along and adds to the article they will know it will need references. Cool - I began filling in the tables at 1920. I am so far up to the early 30s. I've added about five new films today and several actors and directors also to fill in links. Many films are still missing and pre 1920 hasn't even been formatted yet and their are tons of films 1900-1920!!! E.g American films of 1916 is hardly started! Actor categories for deletion

I would really appreciate your view on Category:Western film actors and Category:Spaghetti Western actors up for deletion. I know you don't often comment in afds but PLease see Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 September 16#Actors by genre . The only alterative would be to create lists but I'd imagine these wouldn't suffice an article either. There are many actors associated with this genre including many who only appeared in them.
