Minerals edit

Hi. I checked the sources you cited, and they either don't mention K*, or don't exist. In fact, Google can't find any mention of K* anywhere except in the places where you added it to Wikipedia, and on mirror sites. You even admit that the image you uploaded to illustrate it is CGI.

If I was less generous, I'd assume you were lying.

But I am generous. So I'll give you 48 hours to a) provide actual sources or b) admit that you made it up. DS (talk) 15:13, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

RE: Minerals : Konerkepite edit

The reason I added this because google doesn't have data about this mineral. I'm talking about a mineral my mentor got and I've seen. He doesn't like to add the image of the stone because of it's that rare but he agreed to get closer shots of inclusions and inside. (which was true and added to the Wikipedia) that's why I created the whole CGI in the first place. A few years ago Russian buyers went to Sri Lanka and bought pink spinels with rutile but actually there was no rutile but strontium, my mentor got his hands on some that times and researched on that. I found these details on my mentor's handbook (which was he agreed to provide). I have no idea how to add that as a source. (a) that's all I have to say about the actual source, (b) I strongly don't admit that I made it up as I've just started to contribute to the Wikipedia. I'll try to find some more source. Remove if these details are not enough just tried to add something useful. - LUC (talk)

If your only source is your mentor's handbook... is this something which has been published? Is it possible for other people to see copies of this book? DS (talk) 12:46, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
If this a published book, one that's available to other people, then we can use it as a source. If not, then you have no sources, and this topic cannot be on Wikipedia because "i have no sources but i promise it is true" is the sort of thing that would be said by people who are making up lies. DS (talk) 16:05, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
(This also means that we'll have to take down all the pictures.) DS (talk) 16:13, 5 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
This book is still not published and it'll take long time to do so. You may put this into so called lies section when until reliable source is published. I think it's time to remove all the things. Thank you for your valuable time. Signing off - LUC (talk)
Well, thank you for understanding. Once the book is published, we can use it as a source and all the K* material can be restored (because deleted content isn't gone, it's just inaccessible to non-admins). Good luck to you and your mentor. DS (talk) 13:34, 6 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
