Welcome!

Hello, Loujingyuand, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Don't edit war

edit

You've now re-added the content that was disputed by another editor. That's called edit-warring and you need to stop. Once your changes have been challenged, it's time to go to the talk page and explain why your changes should be accepted. Before you do, please read WP:PRESERVE, and try to understand that content that is likely to be true shouldn't be removed merely due to a lack of references. We tend to leave content like "Training for cave and wreck diving includes techniques for managing extreme low visibility, as finding the way out of an overhead environment before running out of gas is a safety-critical skill" as it's likely that somebody may be able to find a source if they search long enough. And please get somebody to check your grammar: "Technical divers often involve situations of inability to ascent to surface directly" has at least one grammatical error, "to ascent", and one logical error, "divers often involve situations" as well as a very awkward phrase, "situations of inability". --RexxS (talk) 19:40, 21 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
