Concerning the Arabic Wikipedia and commonscat template

Hello @Lotje:! I've seen that you are encouraging users on the Arabic Wikipedia to import media files from commons using the commonscat template. It would be nice if you opt for using the corresponding Arabic template تصنيف كومنز. Also, it would be great if you construct a minimal user page over there. Thank you for all your efforts! Hi Asaifm, please have a look and let me know if something need to be altered, in which case, you are most welcome to adapt my userpage. :-) Lotje (talk) 10:49, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks! I've also added a template to indicate that you are a commons user. Asaifm (talk) 15:31, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
Excellant, thanks. Lotje (talk) 15:33, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

A reference problem

see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Catholic_sex_abuse_cases&diff=588800102&oldid=588791784

Hi! Some users have been working hard on Category:Pages with broken reference names.

Your edits has been showing as an error at the bottom of the article. "Cite error: The named reference REFNAME was invoked but never defined (see the help page)." There was also double content. Can you take a look and work out what you were trying to do? Thanks -- Frze > talk 11:36, 2 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Catholic sex abuse cases may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Proposed deletion of Yaba Angelosi

The article Yaba Angelosi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thanks for your message to me on my talk page. I am actually part of Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron, so I browse articles suggested for deletion by others. Most of the time the proposals for deletion are clearly merited. But from time to time there are articles that strike me as notable and with some effort salvageable by our standards. Yaba Angelosi was one of those pages that did catch my attention particularly after I checked some of his materials online and his collaborations with other Sudanese and East African artists through Assida Records stretching for many years. So saving such articles is a great pleasure particularly as I get to know works of musicians I never would have had the chance of knowing without the Article Rescue Squadron facility. The problem with lesser known artists and artists from African and Asian countries are the lack of sources. But we try as much as we can and with extra research such sources can be traced. Thanks for editors like you who also want to propose such articles. having said that, still though, more references need to be added to the article. werldwayd (talk) 22:12, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
In the meantime, I informed Yabaangelosi, hope he will be able to add some more references.
Maybe I should be browsing the Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron to see if I can be of any assistance. Lotje (talk) 22:41, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks

I thank you for helping in filling in some of the references of Wiz Kilo that I created some time back. Here are some songs by the Canadian Syrian artist: Ovah You, Delete, Stush 2Nite and American Dream werldwayd (talk) 22:21, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

Thank you. :-) Lotje (talk) 22:42, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
And also I dedicate to a Dutch song which is a favourite of mine called "Zing voor me" that you can find here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_b7Wz0WOk8 . I adored the song so much I created myself separate pages for Lange Frans, Thé Lau and for the song "Zing voor me" By the way other pages I have created about Dutch artists include 4 AM, 4 Fun, Baas B, Bakermat, Follow That Dream, Iris Kroes, Leona Philippo, Makoma, Nathalie Makoma, Mischa Daniels, Miss Montreal, Negativ, Niels Geusebroek, Nick & Simon, Silkstone, Sirkus Eliassen, Tim Douwsma, Wolter Kroes, Yes-R and Xander. I also made good contributions to articles for Destine, Fouradi, Georgina Verbaan, Joan Franka, Metropole Orkest, Peter de Koning and rapper Priester (footballer Mitchell Burgzorg). From the list of artists created, here's one from Makoma originally from Congo but resided and worked in Holland: "Ola Ole" it is in Lingala a local Congolese language: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxIMWTeRyxU The lead singer Nathalie Makoma was in Dutch Idols in 2007-2008 and came second. My favourite part in the song is when the male singer says: "PNG, Solomon, Fiji, Vanuatu, Conga, Caledonia. Africa, America, Europe..." -- my motto actually...
