Hello, I'm Masumrezarock100. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Nursing in Kenya because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Thank you for your polite way of approaching beginner editors.
I really appreciate it.
Thanks you for the lesson. Lilly Stein (talk) 12:38, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Alliance Girls High School

edit

Hello. Your recent edit to Alliance Girls High School appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 10:45, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comments.
The subject qualifies for a separate article which is in draft status. Lilly Stein (talk) 14:26, 12 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

March 2023

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at African philosophy. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 01:05, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks you for your criticism.
However, my edit on African Philosophy was not disruptive but factual.
I simply added "East" to the section "Central Africa" because that part references the Maasai who are an East and not a Central African community.
I would be grateful if those facts are checked first, before being labelled as disruptive.
Thanks for your concern. Lilly Stein (talk) 10:50, 25 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

April 2023

edit

Hi Lilly Stein! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Kenya High School ‎ that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Meters (talk) 21:05, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the explanation. I do fond it, however, sad that after all that work, all my edits were reversed. It took me so long to research, draft and post them. I wish someone had just notified me before reversing. I'm still learning the ropes. Lilly Stein (talk) 10:46, 25 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I was hoping to a response to my 25th August message. Lilly Stein (talk) 12:30, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kenya High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. December 2023

edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Kenya High School . Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
It was clearly explained, above, that you should not add people to lists, unless they already have their own article on the English Wikipedia, but you have continued doing so. Please stop - Arjayay (talk) 12:04, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Kindly be cautious when addressing other editors on this forum.
It really beats the purpose when your tone is abrasive and aggressive; no one can learn via this approach.
With a softer tone I would appreciate it if your indicated to me which if my edits constitute vandalism, so that I can see where the error is.
Thank you for your concern. Lilly Stein (talk) 12:32, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I feel like you have something against me personally, from the way you phrase your messages to me.
I'm trying my best to research and post credible edits.
Kindly be nicer and more human. Lilly Stein (talk) 12:34, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

June 2024

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kenya High School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 15:27, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Kindly inform me of the areas/sections which are contentious to you.
Cannot locate them.
Thanks Lilly Stein (talk) 07:40, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia is only interested in what has already been published in reliable, independent sources, published by a body with a reputation for fact-checking - No blogs, no self-published sources, no bodies with a conflict of interest.
These sources must be properly cited, in order to support any additions to, or changed in, our pages, so the information can be verified as true at any time in the future.
The responsibility for providing citations is solely on whoever adds or changes any information, to provide references from reliable sources that support those additions or changes.
You are repeatedly failing do do this, which is why your edits have been, and will continue to be, reverted.
Please see Help:Referencing for beginners for the "how to" guide on referencing. - Arjayay (talk) 10:51, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

How can I add an image of my source "Centenary Magazine of The Kenya High School" to this response?
I want to prove the legitimacy of my contributions which you plan to delete. Lilly Stein (talk) 09:23, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Such an image would almost certainly be a copyright violation, and such a publication is not a reliable, independent source, as it was published by the School. Please see explanation of reliable sources above. - Arjayay (talk) 10:51, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have consent from the school to quote from the magazine. But it cannot be PDF'd and availed online. I was part of and have worked with the school for many years. Lilly Stein (talk) 10:45, 30 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
