Maps/Wikidata/OSM

Wikidata ids has to be added in OSM -- http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/316417356, http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/316417382 I dont see in couple of districts --- naveenpf (talk) 09:04, 20 February 2017 (UTC)

We have to tag the administrative boundaries. from overpass we can get the administrative boundaries [2], then we have add wikidata qid in that -- naveenpf (talk) 09:40, 20 February 2017 (UTC)

Easier method.

1. go to overpass link :- http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/mRF
2. Click Export and take level0 editor
3. Browse and add each wikidata qid and upload

wikidata = Q25203056

Oh...!.. i should have seen your reply.... just now finished adding the boundaries for all district except: tiruppur and krishnagiri, but learned how to use overpass, manually :)

i have a query, i am self learning gis for almost 2 years now. still a noobs. and i am fond of isochrones and contour maps generated from terrain data. Is it a good idea to add topographic data like open cycle map or open terrian map in wiki ??? or am i repeating something which is already there in geohack ???
