Hello, I'm KGirlTrucker81. I noticed that you made a change to an article, George Hirst (footballer), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 13:56, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, 2017-18. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – 2017–18 Premier League. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at 2017–18 Premier League. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 16:23, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi , Greetings. Pls note that your creation of 2017-18 Jersey Premiership and Jersey Football Combination have been moved to Draft:2017-18 Jersey Premiership and Draft:Jersey Football Combination. Content added/edited in Wikipedia needs "inline citation" from independent (third party / secondary / tertiary) reliable source (in any language) for verification to gauge the nobility criteria is met. The articles's inline citation is the WP:BURDEN which it is on the person adding the information. Please note official website, records of sport events or individual player records are consider primary source and not independent source, and social network source such as facebook, twitter, instagram, imbd and etc are considered NOT reliable source and can not be used for citing. Independent reliable source are sources are those obtain from major newspaper, such as The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, CNN news and etc. or source obtain from major publisher of the work (for example, Random House or Cambridge University Press). Pls see

  1. reliable source - see WP:RS (Note: Wikipedia can NOT be the source - see WP:CIRCULAR)
  2. primary vs secondary vs tiartiary source - see WP:WPNOTRS
  3. verification - see WP:V
  4. notability - see WP:N
  5. citing source - see WP:Citing sources and WP:Tutorial/Citing sources (pls follow the Wikipedia method instead of copy and paste the URL)
  6. citing from internet sourc - see WP:CITEWEB and its template -see Template: cite web

Once you have provided inline citations, kindly ping me at my talk page or at your talk page by typing {{ping|CASSIOPEIA}} (please remove "nowiki" upon replying) for me to review the page. For more editing help, you could send your question to the friendly and helpful volunteers at the Teahouse. Lastly, I strongly encourage you to visit WP:The Wikipedia Adventure for there are some short and fun exercises on neutrality, verifiability, collaboration, research and sourcing. Thank you. Hi Lewisbudd, Pls follow item 4 & 5 above, instead of copy and paste the URL. You need to full in the info as per [[Template:cite web] after you click "cite" on the menu bar. Secondly you source need to be "directly" support the contain claim and not the general home page. For example if you content claim 2014-15 title winners is St Paul's then this BBC report - see here [1] would be good as BBC is a reliable independent source. Hope the above help. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:27, 31 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
@CASSIOPEIA: There isn't going to be reliable sources for all the information as I have found it out myself by combining lots of websites and using twitter to find it. And why were the sources I put on there not aloud, for example [1] and what do I do from here @CASSIOPEIA:
Hi Lewisbudd, I understand, as the two pages you created is an amateur league (I believe), try to gather as much independent reliable source as possible (make sure the source support the content "directly"). If you have significant coverage and reliable source in the content, it will most like be kept after publish. However, you need to cite correctly ( see point 4 & 5 and use the template example to fill in the info).
For example if I am going to use your above source for citing, it will look like this (view in source edit mode) - see here [2]. Let me know if you need further help. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:52, 31 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
@CASSIOPEIA: Please can you check if I have been doing it correctly in the first lot of citations on Jersey Football Combination
@CASSIOPEIA: I think I have added all the citations needed and therefore have moved Jersey Football Combination from the draft to the article

Hi Lewisbudd17, Good morning. You did well on inline citing-great work. I have reviewed and published Jersey Football Combination. As for 2017-18 Jersey Premiership, the page will NOT survive the PROD (propose for deletion) and 100% be deleted even I review and published it as the source is primary and come from the same source (web site). A stand alone article in Wikipedia needs meet the notability and is well source with significant cover and 2017-18 Jersey Premiership does not meet it (I have a search on the internet, and I cant find any references). To keep the content of the 2017-18 Jersey Premiership, what you would do is the moved the content and the source from 2017-18 Jersey Premiership to a sub section on Jersey Football Combination. Once you have done that (which mean the 2017-18 Jersey Premiership is empty now), place {{db-G7}} (pls remove nowki signs when doing so), this code means author requests of deleting of the page. In additional, do not moved the page to main space if it had moved from main to draft before, because when you did that the draft copy still exist for the next 6 months, and helpful Wikipedians who come across this draft copy will help to edit it which means it will waste their time and effort to do so. Ping me instead when you done, and I will move it for you as I have different move page right where the draft copy will be removed from draft space.

In addition, if you would continue edit or create more pages in Wikipedia, let me know for I will provide you further info to help you on communication and editing in Wikipedia. Thank you for your contribution and let me know if I could assist further. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 23:37, 31 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

@CASSIOPEIA: I have put all the 2017-18 Jersey Premiership information on to the Jersey Football Combination and I'm now confused to what to do with the 2017-18 Jersey Premiership
HI Lewisbudd17, Please do the step below
Step one - Blank the 2017-18 Jersey Premiership page /(delete all the content) then save the edit
Step two - place {{db-G7}} (pls remove nowki signs when doing so) then save and state "author request page to be deleted" on the edit summary field.
Once you have done that, do revisit the article page and you will see a tag (pink colour) stating page request to be deleted. An admin will delete the page shortly. If you are going to do it now. I am online here if you have problem. Thanks. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 16:29, 1 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
HI Lewisbudd17, I just have a look at Jersey Football Combination, if item 6-9 is 2017-2018 info, you might want to redo the "paragraph heading" so the content would look like they are part of the 2017-2018 Jersey premiership info. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 16:37, 1 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@CASSIOPEIA: Have I done all I need to do?
Hi Lewisbudd17, sorry, I could wait any longer yesterday as I need to get other things done and went off line. Answer to you question yes. However, 2017-18 Jersey Premiership is not deleted ( what you did was correct), but the admin decides to "redirect" the article instead of delete it, which means if anyone type 2017-18 Jersey Premiership in the search box, it will lead the viewer to Jersey Football Combination. However, the result is the same as your content on 2017-18 Jersey Premiership is in good hand. Well done Lewisbudd17! Keep up with the good work. Thank you for the contribution and let me know if you need some info/tool (such as (citing) in one click and the info will be filled) for your editing if you decide to contribute more. Cheers! CASSIOPEIA(talk) 23:10, 1 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hi Lewisbudd17, One more thing, do the same (delete content and place db-G7) on the DRAFT copy for DRAFT:Jersey Football Combination; however this time place "Article on same subject has been created in main space and author request draft to be deleted" on next line after db G&=7 and place the same text on the edit summary. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 23:18, 1 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@CASSIOPEIA: Thanks for your help
Wellcome Lewisbudd17. Have a god day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:21, 3 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

@CASSIOPEIA: At the end of the 2017-18 season at the end of May I want to be able to hide the 2017-18 Premiership season but I would be able to have a drop down. So you would click on an arrow or something and the 2017-18 season would drop down. Do you know how to do this, if so please can you give me instructions or if its easier for you to do it, thanks. Lewisbudd17

Hi Lewisbudd17, Good day. I have made some edits for collapsing (editor could chose to open or hide the content) 2017-18 Premiership Season and added 2017-19 Premiership Season (just fill in the content between the {{collapse top}} and {{collapse bottom}}. I have put a "hidden text" there to leave you message. You can remove the hidden text once you have added 2018-19 info. If the above is not what you intended, then let me know. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 22:40, 23 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
@CASSIOPEIA: Thank you for this, it is what I wanted. Now I know how to collapse something I'll collapse the 2017-18 season when the new 2018-19 season starts in September

@CASSIOPEIA: On the 2017-18 Premiership table I have tried to put Grouville (7th place) with a red background and I have tried to look at other tables that have done the same but I'm still not sure how to do this. Please can you help me with this.

Hi Lewisbudd17, I have done what was requested. You just need to insert an additional pipe "|".

By the way, I didnt receive you ping somehow, but since your talk page is on my watch list, I knew you messaged me. Do send me a text on "my talk page" next time and just indicated help needed on your talk page. (you just need to click the "talk" after my orange name where I sign off and it will lead you to my talk page). Have a good day and happy playing your soccer (I assume :)). Cheers!.
