Managing a conflict of interest

Hello, LcassidyCin7. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

• avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
• propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
• disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
• avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
• do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Hi Acroterion - can you clarify if this means the article is being declined? Or is there another action I need to take? No, it's just to ensure that you knbow about Wikipedia's paid editing and conflict of interest policies. Userpages are not for draft articles, still less for articles created by the organizations themselves. I can move it to draft space if you want, where you can formally submit it fo review. Will do. Keep in mind that accounts aren't shared, and that your account should represent only your efforts. That's one reason why I posted the notice, you must follow best practices since you have a clear-cut COI. You should not be editing anything concerning your organization at all, except to make suggestions on talkpages backed by reliable independent sources. Actually, I won't. There is already a draft at Draft:Cin7. Please work on that, plainly declaring your affiliation in edit summaries and on the talkpage as you do so. Please address the reviewer's concerns, bearing in mind Wikipedia policies on sourcing, notability and prormotional content. Acroterion (talk) 18:01, 13 December 2023 (UTC)

You can just overwrite it. Keep in mind that Wikipedia isn't a business directory,and acceptance isn't guaranteed. Please read WP:CORP for discussion of notability and sourcing that might establish notability. Acroterion (talk) 18:07, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
