Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Queen (band), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. GreaterPonce665 (TALK) 17:55, 19 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Queen I tour

edit

I've replied to you on this page above. Richard3120 (talk) 22:27, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi... I'm sorry if I dissuaded you from improving the article. It's possible that there are enough sources to create a decent article, but unfortunately the truth is that all coverage of this tour will be from the UK's music magazines of that time, plus a sentence or two from biography books of Queen. But I doubt it will ever be possible to confirm the set list, for example – it might be on Setlist.fm, but that's not a reliable source: it will have been uploaded by somebody who was at one of the concerts, and it depends entirely on his/her memory, so it's not reliable or verifiable.
If you really think it should be deleted, blanking the page and leaving a message on the page is not the way to go... I can nominate it for deletion, where other editors can decide whether it should be deleted entirely or redirected to the article for the album. Is that okay with you? Richard3120 (talk) 14:32, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

please do delete the page, If I'm gonna be honest, It was just a fun little thing that I wanted to do. And not really a serious investment.

I will revert it back to normal though, as it is pretty weird to have that page just be a letter and not an actual article

Yeah, you've done the right thing there by reverting it back. I'll send it to AfD then and let you know. Richard3120 (talk) 18:45, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Queen I Tour moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Queen I Tour, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
