Cloem

Hi L.tak. Could you perhaps have a look at the article Cloem, a little-known company apparently creating computer-generated claims, "based upon a client’s submitted claim set"[1]? The Afd I initiated failed. Apparently, there would be "non-trivial sources," but the article is stuffed with original research... Thanks. --Edcolins (talk) 18:39, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

Brrr, I had a look, and looked at the AFD. I am not sure if this should have been deleted, but the non-deletion articles were not very strong, especially when saying wp:org doesn't apply. There is much to be done, but it is not an easy fix I am afraid. I'll see what I can do in the next weeks. L.tak (talk) 18:34, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

No, not particularly. I am not very competent in this regards (as long as it gives no precedents for svn-maps, where the parameter really helps in display quality)... L.tak (talk) 22:03, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Euraasian unioni?

Why in the Finnish Wikipedia the article Eurasian Economic Union has named Euraasian unioni, although it should be Euraasian talousunioni? --2001:999:20:3170:4F7:CD9D:3356:FC7 (talk) 18:30, 4 April 2016 (UTC)

I have no idea, and (as I don't speak Finnish) I am not sure if you are right. However, if you are right, you probably can move the page to the right location, using the "move" button at the top, after you made an account and made some edits... L.tak (talk) 20:20, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
As it is known, the "Eurasian Union" does not exist (at least not at the moment). Instead, the Eurasian Economic Union is. In Finnish the "Eurasian Union" is "Euraasian unioni", but the name is missing word economy, in Finnish talous: the Eurasian Economic Union is in Euraasian talousunioni in Finnish.
However, it is impossible to change the name, due to some kind of 'dictatorship' of some administrators in the Finnish Wikipedia: The difference between the "Eurasian Union" versions (2nd January 2015) (in Finnish), Discussion: Euraasian unioni (in Finnish), The difference between the "Eurasian Union" versions (4th April 2016) (in Finnish). --85.76.161.185 (talk) 20:23, 5 April 2016 (UTC)

Gerrit Schotte

Dear L.tak,

In response to your message, I on the other hand kindly request to you that YOU stop YOUR disruptive editing of information. It is YOU at this moment that is VANDALIZING the said Wiki page of Gerrit Schotte because the information you are posting is misleading and is not based on facts.

To be more specific, within Curaçao Law, once a person appeals a verdict, that verdict becomes non-existent.

Every person under Curaçao Law has the right to 3 trials. 1. Gerecht in Eerste Aanleg (Court in First Instance) 2. Hoger Beroep (Court of Appeal presided by 3 judges) 3. Cassatie (Supreme Court under the Dutch Kingdom presided in The Netherlands)

Once a verdict is giving under the Court of First Instance, the prosecution or the defense (depending on who is the losing party) both have the right to appeal. Once the verdict is appealed, the verdict becomes non-existent and the process is restarted from the beginning in the Court of Appeal. The same rights apply when a verdict from the Court of Appeal is appealed. The verdict becomes non-existent and the process is restarted under the Supreme Court (Cassatie).

Please refer to below Laws.

Wetboek van Strafvordering Curaçao

Thanks for going to the talk page. I will move the part about the law to the talk:Gerrit Schotte page, where I will react and where other may weigh in. L.tak (talk) 05:46, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

Gerda, Wow that long ago! I must say it is still a good memory to me on how a discussion can be on a tense subject without becoming personal... L.tak (talk) 21:46, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

Infobox European case

Unlike the old infobox, the infobox you inserted into Zakharov v. Russia does not display all judges. Is there a way to make them show up? Also, is there a way to make the ECLI number display in a shorter way? It makes the whole box very wide, which looks weird. – Anetek (talk) 22:49, 6 May 2016 (UTC)

The number of judges is solved now, thanks for letting me know. The ECLI is however very large in echr cases, which is regrettable... I could see if I can get the typeface smaller, or remove the " ECLI" heading in front of it, or break it off, all of which have their disadvantages as well. What do you think?
