March 2019 edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

  Hello, Krzysztof Kapłon at IPN. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Icewhiz (talk) 12:13, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Comment + query edit

In relation to your comment here, please read Wikipedia:Sock puppetry and WP:ALTACCN. In addition, I would appreciate an answer to my question - are you associate with the IPN as implied by your username? Icewhiz (talk) 12:16, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

In regards to this post my page - "Yes I am a person employed by IPN" - first off is someone posts on your talk page - usually you can answer back on your own page (you might want to ping). As for your statement, as you are employed by the IPN, you should WP:DISCLOSE clearly per WP:PAID. Furthermore you should comply with WP:COI. In this regard, linking to a website run by your organization (per the linked website) is a violation of WP:SPAM. I respectfully request you cease and desist from this activity, as I do not wish to escalate this further. Icewhiz (talk) 12:24, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Vanjagenije (talk) 13:39, 20 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
