Sumofpi template edit

Kris18:

Thanks for making the aprox. sign on the template. (by the way, I already knew pi was an irrational number)

Michael Slone (talk):

You're welcome. The comment about π being irrational was not directed specifically at you — it's intended for anyone who happens to read the history. 06:17, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:NES_Metroid_Map.jpg edit

Carnildo:

Thanks for uploading Image:NES_Metroid_Map.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you. -- Carnildo 13:33, 14 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kris18:

Thank you for notifying me about my mistake on Image:NES_Metroid_Map.jpg, but unfortunately I do not know the correct lisense. I would like to keep it on Wikipedia for use but I understand the policy and I guess I have to let it be deleted by an admin. Kris18 21:35, 15 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sumofpi template 2 edit

Kris18:

Please don't change the template. I created it and want it to stay the same as it was. Thank you. Kris18 22:59, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
Later edit- Also i see you used some edits while testing with the template. I just want to remind you there is a "preview" button. Kris18 23:08, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about changing the template, it's just that pi was not linked and once I linked it the link was invisible. I'll leave it to you, anyway.Sumthingweird 12:28, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kris18:

Ok I will make "pi" a link. Thanks fot trying to do that anyway. Kris18 20:05, 17 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Userbox: Supporting Userboxes edit

Kris18:

I see you made the supports userboxes userbox. And I also see that it's not a template. Scince you had the idea of it, I am asking for permission to make it a template. ('cause I want to use it too and others might like it) Kris18 19:59, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Later: Oh... nvm, I see others have it the way you do.

Thistheman:

Yeah, Pathoschild is actually helping out in substituting some userboxes that were deleted. I think that might have been his creation, but I'm not sure.

People keep editing my page anyway... I guess you may if it's to change the userboxes, as long as the page doesnt look different. Image:Red Plaid Ninja.PNG edit

Hello, Kris18. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Red Plaid Ninja.PNG) was found at the following location: User:Kris18/PlaidNinjas. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 08:20, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:KartRiderGlove.gif) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:KartRiderGlove.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Summation edit

Hi, Kris!

If you are interested in summation look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ascoldcaves. The full proof of the summation formula you can see at www.oddmaths.info/indefinitesum. In the article there is a single summation formula to sum any analytical function with any summation boundaries. If you are a user of “Mathematica” there is at the bottom left of the page of the site a button “examples”. Opening the examples in “Mathematica” you can choose an analytical function at your choice and arbitrary complex boundaries and calculate your sum.

By,

  Ascold.

Non-free rationale for File:Winbrick2k.png edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Winbrick2k.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:13, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
