March 2020 edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Draft:JetBlue Vacations. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:JetBlue Vacations edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:JetBlue Vacations, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 23:23, 6 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Continuing promotional editing edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising. For some time now there have been attempts by "JetBlue" to use Wikipedia for promotion. Most of us when we start editing Wikipedia do so without knowing much, if anything, about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and therefore we do things, in all good faith, which are contrary to those policies and guidelines. I did so myself when I started editing, and I certainly don't blame anyone else for doing likewise. However, continuing to do the same after having been informed of the relevant policies is a different matter. There have been messages explaining that promotional editing is not acceptable posted to several talk pages of accounts or IP addresses used to promote your business, but the same process has continued. You yourself have reposted promotional content after it had been deleted and it had been explained to you that it wasn't acceptable, so you knew full well what you were doing. If I see any more attempts by your business to use Wikipedia for advertising I shall block any and all accounts or IP addresses that I see used, and revert any edits made by those accounts or IP addresses.
