April 2021 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in The Ben Shapiro Show, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ----Rdp060707|Let's discuss about the plans 06:11, 9 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve John Olson (artist) edit

Hello, KorbFan69,

Thank you for creating John Olson (artist).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs considerable work as it cites no sources, has no footnotes and appears to be a biography of a living person. In this instance, the article *must* conform to Wikipedia's policies for biography and notability. You may wish to consider moving this to draft space.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

John Olson Page edit

Hi Korbfan69! I saw you changed some of the info I added to the John Olson page to "update it". That's cool (and very helpful!) but you didn't add new sources. Even if your info is correct it can't be added unless it was printed somewhere (like an article or interview). This is one of Wikipedia's most important rules. You can read more about it here WP:Verifiable and feel to hop on my talk page if you have any questions! BuySomeApples (talk) 16:42, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

DYK for John Olson (artist) edit

On 20 September 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article John Olson (artist), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that experimental musician John Olson has been called a "sort of bizarro influencer" because of his habit of "chaotic shitposting"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/John Olson (artist). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, John Olson (artist)), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Richard Wankerfield moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Richard Wankerfield, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
