About that revert.
editUh, I DID read that source correctly and there WAS one by "The New York Post" about that. Now I've got the source from "The Street" via Yahoo! Finance under Sony Corporation. Then I've just seen one source that the news weren't true BUT said that they may restructure after March 31, 2017. And the source I've provided? It says it MAY merge. Keyword: "May". - In both the articles a Sony spokesman denied claims made in the news report.
- A Sony spokesman said no such merger is planned (The Street)
- A Sony representative, however, told TheStreet Lynton has no plans to leave the company (The Street)
- “This is nothing but baseless rumor and speculation,” a Sony Corp. spokesperson said Sunday night. “There are no plans for Andrew House to oversee Sony Pictures.” (The New York Post)
- The company has yet to announce the plan. The New York Post and The Street reported that SPE MAY merge with SIE, but you may not say "Sony announced..."
- BTW, this was also not announced. Kona150 (talk) 01:57, 16 December 2016 (UTC)
- You were wrong. I think you need to do more deep searching about the Sony/ATV situation when they were planning to sell its stake last year in order to get itself out of more debt. See here, here, and here I don't do deep searching for accurate sources for nothing. King Shadeed 14:57, December 16, 2016 (UTC)
- You were wrong. You wrote "On October 8, 2015, Sony announced its plans to sell its 50% stake in Sony/ATV Music Publishing to the Michael Jackson Estate." Did Sony publicly announce its plan? In Tokyo there would had been an internal discussion about the sale of Sony/ATV ([1][2]). However, the company never admitted its "top secret" plan (or consideration). - Are YOU understanding where I'm coming from?? Because you're being skeptical of what I contribute! King Shadeed 17:48, December 17, 2016 (UTC)
