Proposed deletion of Christian Peter Mooney

edit

The article Christian Peter Mooney has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. About your recent article's formatting and its references

edit

I noticed that you formatted links to other articles using their urls in your article Christian Peter Mooney. I corrected those as it is not necessary to do that, as the wiki software recognizes links within wikipedia if you enclose the name of the article only in brackets ([[]]) like for example George Bush and not [[1]].

Unfortunately, However, I had to propose the article for deletion as you need to provide reliable sources when you are submitting articles of living people as per policy, as it is so easy for anyone to come on here an submit misinformation about living persons. If you worked hard on the article, please don't take offense. If you can find good sources, you are free to remove the template.

Thank you and happy editing. Thebestofall007 (talk) 04:30, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Help request

edit

my atricle is being deleted as i have no references but i am the living person the article is about help me somebody please — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kippaxchris (talkcontribs)

Hello, all articles about living people on Wikipedia must have at least one reference to a reliable third party source. Please also read the following notice regarding autobiographies:

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Christian Peter Mooney. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you.-- Patchy1 06:05, 1 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
