Although some prefer welcoming newcomers with cookies, I find fruit to be a healthier alternative.

Hello, King I Likes Minecraft, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.

Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
 1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
 2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
 3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
 4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
 5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like , copy the whole thing).
 6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
 7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
References
Reflist
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ralsei is an anagram of (country)

edit

A tag has been placed on Ralsei is an anagram of (country) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —C.Fred (talk) 13:48, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Go ahead and delete the page for sure. King I Likes Minecraft (talk) 13:51, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

What do you mean? Do you mean page https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=My_dick_is_hard&redirect=no or something else? King I Likes Minecraft (talk) 14:32, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
When you use edit summaries like "I will take over then." as you did here, it calls into question whether you really intend to improve the project. —C.Fred (talk) 16:54, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Damn. Should’ve not used that as my summary. Anyways, I will stop this behavior. 👍 King I Likes Minecraft (talk) 16:56, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
You need to also stop creating the unnecessary and inappropriate redirects. You might be better off to work on another area of the project until you get familiar enough with policy to only create compliant redirects. —C.Fred (talk) 22:45, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@C.Fred would linking stim toys/stimmy toys to Fidget toy be correct? as they are the same thing. also thanks for checking my edits, i decided to stalk you back :) Anthony2106 (talk) 04:00, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Anthony2106 That's a very good question! Let's look at the situation:
 1. Stimming is mentioned in the introductory paragraph of Fidget toy.
 2. A Google search for "stim toy" reveals a substantial number of hits, including categories on Amazon and Etsy. This indicates that it is a common term.
 3. A Google search for "stimmy toy" shows a reasonable number of hits.
Based on that, in my opinion, there should be a redirect from Stim toy to Fidget toy, because it is probable that somebody may come to Wikipedia and search for "stim toy". It is reasonable to create a redirect from Stimmy toy to Fidget toy, because there is a likely chance of somebody using that search term. (In my day job, the scale of probability of things occurring ranges from remote to likely to probable, with likely occupying a middle range of, say, 20–80 percent.)
However, there is no redirect from Fidget toys to Fidget toy, so I would not create redirects from the plural forms "stim toys" and "stimmy toys". —C.Fred (talk) 12:14, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@C.Fred thanks for your input, toys links to toy and cats link to cat so maybe Fidget toys should link to Fidget toy but you can just put toys or cats or Fidget toys in the wikicode, so plural redirects are pointless and i wont make them, but are they always pointless? like if they are pointless why did people make them? it is possible cat was originally called cats but that cant be right, who would name it cats?
ill link Stim toy and stimmy toy to Fidget toy tomorrow as i dont wanna lose my edit streak.
but i think the lowercase versions of these should also link to Fidget toy, maybe ill check the instructions for redirect links. Anthony2106 (talk) 12:52, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Anthony2106 Even the lowercase versions don't need created: if a user searched for the lowercase term, it will return the capitalized result, and a link to fidget toy in lowercase does resolve to the Fidget toy article. —C.Fred (talk) 16:23, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Should I add section “Siblings: Mark Epstein (property developer)” below this box?

edit

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Epstein

I was thinking about adding a siblings section below the partners section. King I Likes Minecraft (talk) 16:44, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

No. The link to the brother's article is sufficient. —C.Fred (talk) 23:40, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
