A message from Rylee55 edit

Hi Kharkiv07, I was not responsible for changes to Cellular Regeneration(?) What was the change that was made to the article that seemed to come from this IP address? When I logged into my account just now, I found no record of this change. Back a few years ago, I received communications from several people of this same nature, saying that I had been making changes to articles they'd written, when in fact that was not the case. For a while, my ability to edit articles was blocked. I contacted someone at Wikipedia, and that person had no satisfactory answer to how someone else could be "using my IP address" - said it wasn't possible. I told that person that I am not on a shared network. I said it's very frustrating that I can't make legitimate edits to articles anymore, and the person basically said "Well, you'll just have to live with it." I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating that is! There must be some way that there is a "hacking" explanation for how this is happening, do you have any thoughts on that? According to what I read, Chrome (which I use) is a Tor browser, and so no one should be able to see my IP address... Rylee55 (talk) 00:07, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
