Proposed deletion of British silent horror

edit

The article British silent horror has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTESSAY

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Matthew Wong (at PMA), 18:30, 29 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Article deletion

edit

Hi! I saw that your page was nominated for deletion. I think that this is a good topic area, but it needs to be approached in a different way. My personal suggestion would be to go broader with silent horror films in general, but eep in mind that the idea of silent horror films is already covered at Horror_film#1890s–1900s. You need to be able to show where this topic would not be redundant to the existing article that covers this. This also needs a lot of reliable sources to show where it needs its own article - you should also make sure that you are only summarizing what is explicitly stated in the source material and not creating original research. Closing refs

edit

I closed the refs in your Draft:Kennedy Pagani. For future reference, <ref> is closed with </ref> not /ref> You also should move the refs into text so that each ref follow the text which it verifies. —teb728 t c 22:06, 29 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
