There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
    Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
    Help contribute to articles

    Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you
    Help design new templates

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your userpage.

Adopt a Journalist assignment edit

I assign you Hassan Osman Abdi, the Somali journalist who was the third director of Shabelle Media Network to be killed. Good luck, Crtew (talk) 04:33, 4 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

The biographical details look right. If you don't know his exact birth year for a fact, always put a question mark after the year. For the notability, find out how many directors before him had been killed and how many after. Look at the list on CPJ for assistance in answering this question. I'll look back later to see what kind of progress you have made. Good luck, Crtew (talk) 05:13, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

You haven't made any progress yet putting him into perspective or the other tasks. Crtew (talk) 02:51, 25 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Awesome job! Your article is coming along very well! I would advise that you have more reference links in your "career" section and "context" section as well. Countries around Somalia are not known by most, so having that reference link there would enable the reader to learn more. Also, is there any more information about his personal life? I know for me personally, it was extremely difficult to find any information on that particular section. Other than that, great job so far! Enweaver (talk) 03:31, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sjmayotte, Peer Review edit

You seem to have some good information about your journalist. I think you need more information of the background of the situation, such as the context of the death. Also, you need to cite your work. Sjmayotte (talk) 19:09, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dtisham Peer Review edit

Overall I believe you have the key facts needed for the article, but I think it could use more information. Add more details and be sure to cite the facts. Add some information to the Death and Impact sections and tell the reader why the journalist is important! Dtisham (talk) 20:42, 24 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

JMCANTNER Peer Review edit

I think you have everything covered so far that should be on the site. I understand we are all still working so I assume you have more information to add later. I would just suggest citing the "Citations needs" areas. Your Reaction area seems to be good so far! Keep it up!
