  Hello, I'm Bsoyka. I noticed that you recently removed content from Baahubali: The Beginning without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Hello, I'm DaxServer. I noticed that you recently removed content from S. S. Rajamouli without adequately explaining why. Thanks. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 21:47, 17 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to S. S. Rajamouli, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:34, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Hi Kavitha Marupudi! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of S. S. Rajamouli several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:S. S. Rajamouli, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:34, 18 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at S. S. Rajamouli. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ad Orientem (talk) 04:21, 1 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Prashanth Neel, you may be blocked from editing.
When hidden tells you not to do something, please do not edit contrary to that instruction - Arjayay (talk) 13:58, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Prashanth Neel.
As per above request, when hidden tells you not to do something, please do not edit contrary to that instruction - Arjayay (talk) 15:43, 4 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for continuing the edit warring and persistent unexplained removal of article content which you have previously been warned about, and for which you have previously been blocked. Since a short-term block has not led to any change in your editing, this time the block is for a longer period. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 21:05, 4 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Ram Charan. - Arjayay (talk) 16:12, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

  This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Allu Arjun, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Arjayay (talk) 16:14, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics

edit

You have recently been editing articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
