Egyptian Forces in the Desert War

edit

If you are going to persist in adding Egypt as a combatant to Second World War desert war articles then please add a source - if a source is not provided your edits will be reverted. Sources that i have consulted thus far clearly state Egyptian troops did not take part in any of the fighting and their only role was in providing limited AA support in the Delta area and manual labour.--EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 01:37, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Siege of Jerusalem (1099)

edit

Hi Kassjab, it is anachronistic and misleading to add "Kingdom of France" and "Holy Roman Empire" to the list of combatants. The crusade was not organized as national expeditions. Adam Bishop (talk) 21:42, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Misr International Films

edit

A tag has been placed on Misr International Films requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 02:18, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Braniff Productions

edit

The article Braniff Productions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources (and could not find any) to prove this production company exists.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mike Allen 08:20, 20 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Swiss People's Party appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. PCHS-NJROTC (Messages) 02:51, 25 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

edit

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, or obtained through personal knowledge or unpublished synthesis of previously published material. Wikipedia requires that all material added to articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 03:09, 3 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
