edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Rangiya, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 09:54, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

  - Please do not add any Indic script, to any of our India related articles, as you did at Rangiya, as this contravenes WP:NOINDICSCRIPT - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 14:51, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Nalbari. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

Recent edit reversion

edit

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

There is a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary. The edit summary refers to advertisement like material which was the original reason for the reversion but I did a revision deletion to remove the copyright violation. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I note that multiple people have attempted to add this tax multiple times. Please stop or provide an explanation of why what appears to be copyrighted material should be permitted.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 16:10, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Rangiya, you may be blocked from editing.
Please stop re-adding non-notable places to that article - Arjayay (talk) 16:12, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Rangiya.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent further vandalism.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:17, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
