If 'Kai Phillips' is your real name, you might want to consider a login ID on Wikipedia that is not your real name (e.g. LordPercyOfThePigLand if the Lord Dictator is a fan of Percy Pigs), and does not allow people to make trouble for you, especially if you are aged under 18. There are plenty of people on the Internet who do not have good intentions. Airport Route Map

edit

There was a discussion about 8 years ago on wikipedia about whether airport pages should have route maps. I can't find any trace of it, but seem to recall the conclusion was that route maps should not appear on airport pages because while the Airline/Destination tables were regularly updated, the route maps tended not to be because people were a little bit lazy (to add a new airport you need to find its coordinates, etc...) and thus wikipedia ended up with route maps that were not accurate. Furthermore, it was felt better not to have them at all than have significantly bad data. It is indeed a shame that that was the conclusion which was reached, but there are plenty of people on wikipedia who think that an airport shouldn't even include the Airline/Destination table because that is non-encyclopaedic and might be out of date. Yes, wikipedia has its own faction-based wars.... If you want the Southampton airport page to have a route map, you should probably stick something on the talk page for the airport (or even at WP:AIRPORT if you are super-ambitious !) and try to get consensus. Otherwise, expect random wiki-editors to delete your route map... Pmbma (talk) 12:39, 7 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your contributions to airline articles

edit

Please refrain adding or changing content within aviation articles before making yourself more familiar with our content guidelines. You borderline started several edit wars which will lead to a fast block of your account. We have rules on what to add to articles and how it is supposed to look, e. g. as per consensus we do not use destination maps whatsoever and also do never state charter operators (only the main brand they are operating for - so its not TUI Group operated by Volotea, its simply TUI Airlines). Best regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:A61:1095:7801:1188:2E36:DE27:21AB (talk) 07:52, 28 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of TUI Airways destinations, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cork. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Southampton Airport

edit

I just removed a large chunk of text that you added at Southampton Airport. Without references from reliable and verifiable sources (Wikipedia:Reliable sources & Wikipedia:Verifiability) what you have added is nothing more than original research (Wikipedia:No original research). Feel free to re-add the content with supporting references for all the facts added and points made. Do not add your own personal analysis. 10mmsocket (talk) 15:01, 18 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

You did nothing about referencing it, so why add it all over again? --10mmsocket (talk) 10:05, 21 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
