April 2020 edit

Hello, I'm Kautilya3. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Pathans of Kashmir, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 12:22, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Kautilya3 Hello, I just removed the specifics mainly as the sources did not specify the information the article was showing. For example "large number of Muslims" Is an incorrect statement, it is not only muslims that claim it. It should be "large number of people". I also removed a contradicting statement where it says "(Pathans) who still follow Pashtunwali and speak Pashto as their mother-tongue" but in the same paragraph it says "some people following Pashtunwali customs and aspects of Pashtun culture and Pashto are still notably practiced among the community, but are largely few in number and reside in certain areas only." suggesting that only few people actually follow Pashtunwali and speak Pashto. --KR72 (talk) 12:43, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I have self-reverted. In future, when you modify sourced content, you need to state how it corresponds to the sources. Otherwise, such modifications would be considered WP:vandalism. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 13:14, 26 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
