Image Tagging for Image:1HPNmod2 VDW.jpeg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:1HPNmod2 VDW.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Unspecified source for Image:Drawing4.svg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Drawing4.svg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 14:20, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Related to receptor tyrosine kinase edit

A tag has been placed on Related to receptor tyrosine kinase, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Endocrine Hierarchy edit

First of all I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In particular, I have viewed the illustration located in the "hormone" article. I like the layout, color, and my interpretation of the general intent of that illustration. I did notice some things that appear to be erroneous and would like to help you in correcting them. That request should be interpreted to mean any of the following: you correct the errors, have me assist you in correcting the errors, or, if you are willing provide me with your raw illustration file, (possibly) I can correct them for you. The main reason for this request, and offer to help, is that I am lazy and don't want to put in the work to make a better version of the illustration that you have already created  :-) I have listed my suggestions (and criticisms) of your illustration in the following talk section http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Hormone#Hormone_hierarchy.jpeg Sincerely, D. Brouse

In reply to your message on my User Talk page - sure I would be happy to make a few edits on your endocrine flowchart. The email address you should use to send the attached .ppt file is dcbrouse at hotmail.com (use the @ symbol in place of "at" <-- I write my email address this way so it is a little less likely to be harvested by bots and then spammed.) If you would like me to return my edits to you, let me know, otherwise I will upload the edited version of the image directly to the wikipedia article. Cheers. Dbrouse 05:37, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

You're confusing me... edit

This edit is really confusing to me, why would you add an uncyclopedia link to an article about a drug? What's even more confusing is that your other edits seem to be constructive...

I haven't checked all your edits, but if you've added uncyclopedia (confused it with something else, perhaps?) links to any other articles, you should probably go back and remove them :) -Obli (Talk)? 23:13, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was having a bad day in the heparin lab and the uncyclopedia article made me laugh. Don't worry I haven't added uncyclopedia links to any other articles and your probably right to remove the link. We don't want people thinking heparin was discovered by batman!! K.murphy 14:18, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

PBB request edit

Hello, thanks for posting your gene/protein requests on the ProteinBoxBot user page. Just so you know, we're in a bit of hiatus while we add a few bells and whistles. Should be back in page creation mode in the next two weeks, at which time we'll get to your genes of interest promptly... Cheers, AndrewGNF 16:19, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, so my time estimate was a little off. But, your requested genes are done now... AndrewGNF (talk) 20:42, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Latent antithrombin.jpeg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Latent antithrombin.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:02, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

GA reassessment of Heparin edit

I have conducted a reassessment of the above article as part of the GA Sweeps process. You are being notified as you have made a number of contributions to the article. I have found some serious concerns which you can see at Talk:Heparin/GA1. It appears that large parts of the article are copyright violations. I have placed the article on hold whilst these are fixed. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 20:13, 27 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your upload of File:3TMN.jpeg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
