spelling of Story Bridge, Brisbane

edit

Thanks for your interest in keeping WP accurate. Your recent renaming of Story Bridge, Brisbane, however, was reverted because the sources in the article support "Story". It is named after John Douglas Story and there is a building with his name on it. --Jtir (talk) 19:39, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Christie report

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Christie report, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.aptnsw.org.au/news/20020519Sun045109.txt. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 06:18, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Castlereagh Line

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Castlereagh Line, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No reason to believe that it's notable.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. gENIUS101 21:14, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

David Andrew Campbell

edit

Hello Jswd, can you provide a wp:reliable source for the cancellation of the metro project? Just deleting the text about the cost blow out was, perhaps, not a good move as it is an example of what happened under Campbells leadership as Transport Minister, even if it was cancelled. It showed one reason why the project was controversial.

I think the removed text, plus the cancellation with source, should all be in the paragraph. Thoughts? --220.101.28.25 (talk) 18:25, 20 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Harmkeys.svg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Harmkeys.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:05, 3 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

File:Harmkeys.svg listed for deletion

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Harmkeys.svg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Proposed deletion of Glendale railway station

edit

The article Glendale railway station has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence provided that the facility will ever exist; no references; no location (probably not a hoax or fantasy, but unable to verify)

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Unspecified source/license for File:SydneyHarbourBridgeHangers.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:SydneyHarbourBridgeHangers.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 00:01, 24 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Light rail

edit

Take it to the talk page. You have a questionable, overly-long, unsourced list at the moment, and it clearly won't stand in its current form, so you need to get some sort of consensus for your changes. The Drover's Wife (talk) 11:13, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Jswd:, please discuss the matter at Talk:CBD and South East Light Rail#Criticisms. Mitch Ames (talk) 01:45, 26 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:SydneyHarbourBridgeHangers.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Josh Milburn (talk) 15:06, 19 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
