Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:01, 6 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, we already have a JDaugherty (talk · contribs). If that's you, you can just start using that account. If it isn't you, you'll have to pick a new username. You can check to see if your account is available here. --Yamla (talk) 18:55, 6 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for the trouble! I checked the availability page last time, and it had said "No global account for Jdaugherty" so I thought it was available. I get the same message for jpdnz. Both seem to show up available at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_pages#User_page_search. I'm happy to have any string of numbers after, so jpdnz525, etc, since I don't seem to be checking availability correctly! Thank you for your time. VirginiaRep (talk) 19:40, 6 October 2017 (UTC)

Accept reason:

No need to apologise. The name check sometimes misses them and we only discover it when we go to rename you. Anyway, you are renamed and unblocked now! Note that you are free to blank this page if you wish. Yamla (talk) 20:39, 6 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Jpdnz. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jpdnz. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jpdnz|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE💕 13:11, 28 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
