Welcome to the Novels WikiProject edit

Hello and welcome to the Novels WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to fiction books, often referred to as "novels".

A few features that you might find helpful:

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the coordinators or an experienced member of the project; we will be happy to assist in any way we can. Again, welcome, and we look forward to seeing you around! Alan16 talk 22:12, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your rollback request edit

Hello Jozal, I have granted your account rollback in accordance with your request. Please remember that rollback is for reverting vandalism/spam, and that misuse of the tool, either by revert-warring with other users, or simply reverting edits you disagree with, can lead to it being removed. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 17:23, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Apprentice (UK Series 5) edit

Hi, the names for the Apprentice weeks came from the clips/previews/interviews etc. on the official website, with the exception of week 5 which was simply called "The advertising challenge", so I made up my own for that :) wardy290 18:58, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sims 3 Leak Removal edit

Go to <removed> and type in Sims 3 and see for yourself, doesn't take that much effort you know? (I'm not the guy who made the section) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.122.239.19 (talk) 10:57, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Eh? I'm not saying the stuff about the leak shouldn't in the article, just don't promote sites that offer downloads of the game because it's, you know, illegal. Jozal (talk) 11:01, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The cookie edit

This is bad edit

I have no idea why I am being accused of vandalizing. I was accused before by someone and apologized later for the accusation because it was a mistake. And now you are doing the same. Why are you making Wikipedia so user unfriendly? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Changemaking (talkcontribs) 13:14, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Firefly (Companion) edit

Hi. In Firefly, Inara Serra is in fact a type of prostitute (One of the characters on the show, Malcom Reynolds, calls her a whore). Calling her an 'entertainer' and 'courtesan' is misleading. So, I think bots are automatically flagging the word as offensive, when it is in fact used to factually describe a profession.

For example, the firefly wiki page describes her as frequently participating in "a form of state-sanctioned prostitution", apart from being a courtesan and entertainer.

Also, It's not nice to accuse people of vandalism and then simply keep quiet regarding the changes. Atlteast discuss it, instead of simply reverting it and accusing me of vandalism?59.92.54.117 (talk) 13:31, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
